Alternatives Africa in conjunction with KEPSA and Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) organized a Youth Economic Dialogue Forum which took place on 26th February 2020 in Nairobi. The aim of the meeting was to facilitate interactions between young entrepreneurs and the public and private sectors, to explore business opportunities and possibilities in the Agri-sector. Among the opportunities discussed in potato value chain include; value addition, seed multiplication, soil testing services, cold storage facilities, aggregation of inputs and mechanization. The guest speaker of the meeting was Hon. Francis Nyammo, the founder of Nallah farms. He was impressed with the huge turn-up of youths interested in the agriculture.
