NPCK collects and updates the prevailing ware potato market prices in 5 major towns namely Nairobi, Kisumu, Mombasa, Meru and Eldoret on its website twice a week. This information is useful to potato stakeholders particularly farmers and market outlets in their selling and buying decisions respectively. Below is a summary of the market prices in the month of August 2020.

During the month of August, the major towns experienced relatively stable prices. This was mainly because while there was a slight decrease in supply to the market, the demand was still low since most potato market outlets such as fast foods, hotels other major eateries were still not fully operational due to covid-19 management measures. Therefore the lower supply resulted to little or no change in prices.
