Elgon Kenya Limited and University of Nairobi have signed an Memorandum of Understanding paving way for the construction of the Agricultural Technology and Innovational Centre (ATIC) to establish the region’s first agriculture innovation and technology centre at the college of Agriculture and Vetinary Services, Upper Kabete campus.

This public-private partnership will allow private sector and academia to train students and farmers on the latest developments in agriculture worldwide. It will also nurture and strengthen innovations in agriculture and entrepreneurship. The groundbreaking ceremony will be done in the first quarter of 2022.
