One way NPCK seeks to build a robust potato industry is by promoting best practices in the production of potato in order to achieve high quality standards and at the same time improve yields. The Potato Council in partnership with YARA MILA fertilizer company has established a research trial that aims at analyzing the effectiveness of the new YARA fertilizer product (YARA MILA Power 12:24:12) in production of potatoes. Potato specific farm inputs including fertilizer are necessary for improved yields.
