NPCK collects and updates the prevailing ware potato market prices in 6 major towns; Nairobi, Kisumu, Mombasa, Meru, Eldoret, and Nyeri on its website twice a week; Tuesday and Thursday. This information is useful to potato stakeholders particularly farmers and market outlets in their selling and buying decisions respectively. The table above is a summary of the market prices in the month of June 2021.

For two days in Nairobi, 15^th and 17^th of June, there was a standoff in the potato market following the new potato regulations with very little trade happening. Things went back to normal afterwards with potato being traded in the 50 Kg bag.
