Varieties planted were Unica, Shangi, Java, Dutch robjin, Ram, Wanjiku and E22. Partners who participated in the demo include; FreshCrop, Kevian Limited, Kirinyaga Seeds, Egerton University, Corteva Agri Science, UPL, Syngenta, Twiga Chemicals, Elgon Kenya, JJ Elens, Murphy Chemicals, Biolevel and Baraka Fertilizer.
