The county government of Narok continues to engage all potato stakeholders with an aim of developing the potato industry in the county. On 9th September 2019, the county convened a meeting in Enkare area, Narok East Ward. The purpose of the meeting was to officially launch the Crops Irish (Potato Regulations) 2019 and set the pace for start of enforcement of the provisions of the regulations. In attendance were county executive leadership, county department of agriculture, county department of weights and measures, farmers, county assembly representative, AgCK, NPCK among others.
The county governor launched the regulations and gave his commitment and that of his team to start enforcing the regulations immediately.
