NPCK and partners are in the process of developing the 2021 Potato Variety Catalogue .The   Variety Catalogue is a guide for all registered potato varieties that are in the country and contains their details and multipliers in the country. It is published every two years with the last one having been published in 2019. Information on new varieties is shared by KEPHIS and its breeders which are then compiled and reviewed by a committee before it is printed.

The variety catalogue is distributed in both hard and soft copies to Farmers & Farmer groups; Agro-dealers; NGOs; County governments; Ministry of Agriculture Livestock, Fisheries and cooperatives; Sub-County Agricultural officers; Potato forums, programs and initiatives in the Potato growing counties. A total of 15,000 copies will be printed for distribution over the next two years.
