NPCK continues to organize forums for information sharing, showcasing technologies, and innovations and for business-to-business interactions. The forums are aimed at increasing awareness and sharing knowledge on innovations and technologies in developing agribusinesses, increasing availability of high quality inputs and improving productivity, which lead to transformation of the potato subsector

The partnership and collaboration between State Department of Agriculture, county governments and other stakeholders has enabled the industry to achieve significant milestones that has led to recognition of potato as an important and strategic crop for achieving food and nutrition security. With continued implementation of projects and initiatives outlined in the National Potato Strategy and Crop Irish potato regulations 2019 a further transformation of the subsector into a robust, competitive and self-regulating industry is expected.
